VARIETY: 65% Shiraz, 35% Grenache

BOUQUET: Soft and delicate aromas with hints of lavender and plums integrating gently with savoury French oak characters

PALATE: Generous and juicy, with a silky mouth-feel. Packed full of dark berry fruits and finishing with soft tannins.

CELLARING: Enjoy upon release, or cellaring for 8-10 years from vintage will be justly rewarded

VINIFICATION: Harvested at the optimum ripeness for this wine style, the Shiraz fruit was blended from five premium parcels, the Grenache from three. All were fermented separately, using both open and closed fermenters with careful monitoring. Once pressed, the wine was matured in approx. 50% American and 50% French oak barriques (225L) (approximately 15% new, 85% 1, 2 year and older oak barrels) for 18 months prior to blending and bottling.
